LEOKID PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING POLICY

We intend to offer you the highest level of service thus we ask you to share with us some of your personal data. As you provide us with this information, we use it only in the needs of giving you the best experience of online shopping. The data is processed in strict accordance with the applicable law and to the highest standard of care and safety. 

We collect and use information when you shop in our webshop, including expediting your order and registering your preferred functions, etc., as well as sending marketing material and other information on our products and activities if you have given us your explicit consent. Finally, your information can be used to investigate suspicion of fraud.

Apart from your personal information we store your log files, including the name of the file you have requested, date and time of access, amount of data transmitted and the requesting IP number. These files do not contain any of your personal data. We use it only for the purpose of improving our offer and optimizing the work of our website.

2. Personal data processing 

We collect and store our clients personal data in the following cases:

• Client makes purchases on our website 

• Client subscribes to our newsletter

• Client browses on our website – cookies 

• Clent takes part in our website activities, including competitions

The data that Leokid holds include your name, address, e-mail and phone number submitted when placing an order in our webshop, by browser onsite or by signing up to our newsletter.

Leokid keeps this personal information stored in one place, even if you use our e-mail address in one or more of these cases listed above. Your personal data can be used again in future, for example as a returning customer at check out, and at the same time not receive the same material from us multiple times.

3. Why do we need your personal data? 

• To fulfill our obligations as a seller in the process of purchasing Leokid products on our website 

• To help you sign up 

• To send out newsletters and other promotional materials

• For our statistics and traffic analysis 

• Other marketing purposes

• Purchase: Storage of order request, order confirmation, invoice (agreements)

• Signing up for “Notify me” using your e-mail to get a notice regarding a products availability. After the e-mail dissemination, your data is deleted.

• Storage of check out information when using ”save this information next time” 

Leokid processes your personal data if there is a legal basis for doing so. The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is found in the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 Of the European Parliament and of the council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.  

4. Disclosure to other data controllers

Your personal information will not be disclosed without your permission except for the cases when it is required by the actual law (by the official requests of the police) 

5. Deleting of personal data

Leokid will not keep your personal data in case it is not needed for the functions listed in paragraph 3. 

6. Cookies

Leokid uses cookies on its website. Cookies do not contain confidential information and are not transmitted to third parties. 

7. Security

We have implemented safeguards to ensure that our internal procedures meet our high security standards. In this way we strive to protect the quality and integrity of your personal information to the best of our ability.

8. Password and login information

Customers cannot disclose their password information to the third parties. In addition to that they have to ensure due diligence when they store and use the login and password. If we will suspect that your account is used by some malicious software or by a third party, we keep the right to unilaterally change your password.  

9. Customer rights 

Leokid undertakes to keep your personal data confidential and to ensure that you may exercise your rights. Bearing that in mind, you may exercise your rights free of charge by writing us an e-mail to the e-mail address (support@leokid.com), simply informing us of the reason for your request and the right that you wish to exercise. If we consider this necessary to be able to identify you, we may request you to provide a copy of a document evidencing your identity.

You have the following rights:

• To request access to your personal data that we hold.

• To request that we rectify the personal data that we hold. In any case, please take into account that, on actively making your personal data available to us through any procedure, you guarantee that they are true and accurate and you undertake to notify to us any change or modification of your data. You will be liable for any loss or damage caused to the Platform or to the person responsible for the Platform or to any third party by reporting erroneous, inaccurate or incomplete information in the forms. Please remember that, as a general rule, you must provide us only with your own data, not with those of third parties, other than to the extent otherwise permitted in this Privacy and Cookies Policy.

• To request that we erase your personal data to the extent that they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which we need to keep processing them, as we have explained above, or when we are no longer legally permitted to process them.

• To request that we cancel or limit the processing of your personal data, which entails that in certain cases you can request us to temporally suspend the processing of the data or that we keep them longer that necessary.

10. Withdrawal of consent

You can always withdraw any consent you may have given. Leokid will afterwards delete your information unless you continue processing for any given reason. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please send us a written request to the address indicated in our contact information.
