We pursue continuous improvement. Therefore, we pay attention to the material selection, care about the people and our team, value industrial and natural resources.

MATERIALS

Since the very foundation of the brand, we have been committed to using materials that are both safe for people and animal-friendly: we do not use animal-sourced or toxic materials in our production. As a water-repellent impregnation, we use hypoallergenic Bionic-Finish® Eco finish, whose fluorine-free composition makes it more environment-friendly and safe for people.

CARING FOR THE PEOPLE AND OUR TEAM

Leokid acknowledges the core role of human, professional and creative contribution of its employees. Teamwork, transparency and mutual respect are the basis of all human relations. We believe that better conditions give better products. We have created a comfortable environment for our production team and entrusted storing of our shipments to a warehouse with comfortable working conditions where the employees’ rights are respected.

We cooperate with proven factories in North China, which maintain occupational safety,fair wages and good production procedures.
Our factories undergo annual certification of working conditions. The share of manual labor in our production is 40%.

RESOURCES

We are committed to practical minimalism and are not fast-fashion supporters. Moreover, we value resources used to produce each item.
That is why we prefer quality, not quantity. We do not offer free shipping, because there is no such thing as free shipping. Shipping always involves goods transportation, packaging materials and workforce. We pay due respect and seek to protect those who take part in the supply chain.

We are sure that the production way implies responsibility, and the way of sustainable development involves a sustainable system. We value publicity and believe it is important to share our results to minimize industrial effects within the course of creation of the resource & waste management system.

Reuse
materials & items

In our production, we use advanced materials, therefore you will enjoy our products for a long time. If your item or accessory has lost its functionality, please pass it to those who need it. All our products have service life of 3 years. We support reuse, and our designers’ solutions allow prolonged use of clothing or accessories. These solutions include multi-way models, items with up-flip cuffs, detachable and adjustable straps, articles with inside labels allowing multiple user name and phone indications. You can pass your clothes to the younger children or to those who need it.

We recommend to reuse bags used to package our products. We have developed a convenient zip-lock allowing to use our packaging for storage and transportation. We keep products having minor defects and avoid disposing of them, but rather repair them and sell at a lower price.

Reduse
waste

We advocate the “what-you-really-need approach” approach. That is why our product range is developed to allow for item combinations, and each collection is elaborated to support combining products from various collections. We share the commitment to natural resource conservation; therefore, we do not recommend frequent washing of our products. To clean off minor contaminations, it is enough to wipe our products with a damp cloth, which allows them to keep their appearance and functionality.

Recycle
outdated

If our product has lost its functionality, please pass it to a recycling facility.
We use recyclable materials to produce our packaging so that you can send them for recycling.
We also recommend to reuse our outer packaging for storage and
transportation.
